Social Worker Melissa Ruff has joined Access Carroll Integrated Health Care, at Suite 200 in the Distillery Building. Melissa earned her Master’s degree in Social Work in 1995 from University of Maryland School of Social Work and her Bachelor’s degree in 1991 from UMBC. She was appointed to the Governor’s Commission on Traumatic Brain Injuries in 2017 and holds a license from the Board of Social Work examiners as a Certified Clinical Social Worker and a Board Approved Supervisor. Melissa joins Access Carroll after previous employment at Carroll Lutheran Village as the Director of Social Work for 9 and a half years. Prior to which, she worked in outpatient and inpatient mental health settings including Sinai Hospital, Johns Hopkins Bayview and the Counseling Center of Maryland.
